Cajun Soul Bistro & Bar | Cocoa Village

The restaurant space at the busy corner of King Street and Hughlett Avenue in Cocoa Village has been several things in recent years, most recently the stylish, but short-lived, El Diablo Taco y Tequila Bar.

Soon, it will open with a new flavor and a new attitude. Cajun Soul Bistro & Bar, a brick-and-mortar version of the popular food truck, has taken over the space, with an official opening set for Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 11.

This place has the bona fides. One partner, Lance Primeaux, is a Louisiana native who knows his way around the kitchen. The other, Kenya Davis, has been cooking in the area for years, including Cajun dishes.

Flavor by Chef Kenya’s Super Bowl Party has been a hot ticket in Central Brevard for a while now. This is his 13th annual event. Doors open at 6 p.m. Feb. 11 for the all-you-can-eat event that includes steaks, shrimp. crab, wings, oysters, ribs and lots more. Tickets are $40, available at EventBrite.com. Search for “Flavor by Chef Kenya’s Super Bowl Party.”
